Derek Weikle
Graphic Designer/Production Assistant
Derek is a photographer and designer. Derek is a renaissance man, working as Mercury Labs' graphic designer, from digital to print and motion, he builds motion and graphic design elements for all of Mercury Labs' video projects. Derek has an eye for what makes great art. From digital to canvas, he understands how to speak to audiences through imagery. As a Production Assistant, Derek has worked on video productions ranging from regional commercials to brand videos to a 1940s short film, assisting with camera, grip work and composition. With a design background from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Derek's love of design and technology drives his work at Mercury Labs.
